I am delighted to introduce our exciting initiative for older people in Dublin City.

The Passport for Leisure Scheme is Ireland’s first discount card scheme specifically tailored to the leisure and recreational needs of people aged 55 and older.

The scheme entitles members to avail of a range of special discounts from access and use of Dublin City Council’s Sport, Leisure and Recreational facilities to a large range of specific discounts from the business sector.

Since the launch in May 2007 more almost 80,000 people have joined the scheme and are availing of discounts for a diverse selection of activities such as:-

  • Eating Out
  • Swimming
  • Golf/Pitch and Putt
  • Travel
  • Theatre
  • Great Days Out
  • Shopping
  • Sight & Hearing Specialists
  • Sports Halls/Gymnasiums
  • Cultural Events

On becoming a member of the Passport for Leisure Scheme you are joining a rapidly growing club whose members are enjoying the obvious financial benefits of the discounts, and you are empowered to take an enhanced role in the leisure and recreational potential of our wonderful city of Dublin.

Remember it’s your city, now is the time to enjoy it!

It’s your life, live it. It’s your city – enjoy it.
